Job description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a US Compensation & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with federal and state regulations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll while optimizing employee benefits programs to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Compliance:
• Process multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state,and local laws.
• Handle tax withholdings, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Collaborate with finance for payroll reconciliation and reporting.Benefits Administration:
• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), disability,and life insurance.
• Assist with enrollment, claims, and open enrollment processes.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and other regulations.
Compensation & HR Support:
• Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis.
• Support compensation planning, including bonuses and promotions.
• Address employee payroll and benefits inquiries, ensuring policy compliance.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years in US payroll and benefits administration.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ADP, Workday, Paycom, or Gusto.
• Knowledge of US labor laws, payroll taxes, and benefits regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Preferred Certifications:
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) (a plus).
