Job description
We are looking for a results-driven Email & SMS Marketing Assistant to support the execution of email and SMS marketing strategies across multiple brands. The ideal candidate is a passionate marketing professional who thrives in a data-driven environment and is committed to delivering targeted, engaging, and high-performing campaigns. This role plays a vital part in improving customer engagement, boosting repeat purchases, and maximizing customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management: Plan, develop, and launch targeted email and SMS campaigns to increase customer engagement and drive sales across various brands.
Calendar Oversight: Manage the email and SMS marketing calendar to ensure timely and well-coordinated campaign execution.
Segmentation & Personalization: Create detailed customer segments to support personalized and effective remarketing strategies.
A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct regular A/B tests on campaign creatives, messaging, and targeting to drive performance improvements.
Customer List Growth: Proactively expand and manage email and SMS subscriber lists to enhance reach and engagement.
Database Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and health of customer data through regular list hygiene and optimization.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution; provide regular performance reports and actionable insights.
Continuous Improvement: Leverage data and customer feedback to improve campaign effectiveness and identify new opportunities for program evolution.
Brand Consistency: Maintain alignment with brand voice, guidelines, mission, and vision across all marketing materials and communications.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align campaign goals with broader marketing and sales objectives.
Goal Setting: Define clear objectives for each campaign and evaluate success based on predetermined KPIs.
Job requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, UX & Design, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Marketing Experience: Proven experience in executing email and/or SMS marketing campaigns, preferably for e-commerce businesses.
Technical Tools: Proficiency in marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, or similar platforms.
Analytical Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics or equivalent tools to assess user behavior and campaign impact.
Design Skills: Basic proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design tools is a plus.
HTML/CSS: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email customization is preferred.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and proofreading.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and committed to meeting deadlines.
Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams, is required.
