Cloud Systems Engineer – Zscaler Focus

Job Overview

KDCI Outsourcing is hiring a Cloud Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Zscaler solutions to support our U.S.-based client. This highly technical and client-facing role is ideal for professionals with proven experience in cloud security, particularly in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). The role involves managing, supporting, and optimizing Zscaler deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing cloud access solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and maintain Zscaler platforms (ZIA/ZPA) across enterprise environments

• Troubleshoot and resolve Zscaler-related issues including access control, policy enforcement, and system performance

• Monitor system health and maintain performance dashboards for client environments

• Collaborate with security, systems, and network engineering teams to align policy and architecture

• Ensure compliance with client-specific security standards and assist with audit preparation and reporting

• Participate in client onboarding, technical support calls, and ongoing troubleshooting discussions

• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing resources

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT systems or cloud security engineering

• Direct hands-on experience with Zscaler platforms, including ZIA and/or ZPA

• Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, DNS filtering, SSL inspection, and SSO integration

• Familiarity with SIEM tools, identity and access management (e.g., Okta, Azure AD), and proxy/firewall configurations

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

• Preferred but not required: Zscaler certifications such as ZCCP-IA or ZCCP-PA
